Frequently Asked Questions

Trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate events demand displays that travel well, set up quickly, and look polished under harsh lighting. This FAQ covers how to choose, design, and care for exhibition displays.

It depends on your floor space, budget, and how often you exhibit. Roller banners suit small spaces or quick set-ups, pop-up stands give you a full backdrop for larger booths, and modular displays suit businesses that frequently change stand layouts. If you're just starting out, a roller banner paired with a branded counter is usually the most cost-effective entry point.
A typical 3x3 pop-up backdrop needs around 2.25m of width and 1m of depth once assembled. Add a counter and you'll want at least 3m x 2m of floor space to allow staff to move comfortably. Always check the stand plan from the event organiser before ordering.
Yes, most exhibitors combine several products for impact. A common setup is a pop-up backdrop, a branded counter, two roller banners flanking the entrance, and a literature holder. All elements can be designed with matching artwork to create a cohesive look.
Yes. Most exhibition stands are built for indoor venues with controlled lighting and no wind. Outdoor events need weighted bases, weather-resistant fabrics, and reinforced frames. Always specify the venue type when ordering.

Print-ready PDFs at 100% scale with 3mm bleed and a CMYK colour profile are ideal. If you only have a logo or small reference image, we can usually scale and re-set artwork, but vector files (AI, EPS, or SVG) give the cleanest large-format results.
Supply all artwork in CMYK with brand colour reference numbers (Pantone or HEX) listed clearly. Order all your stand graphics from the same printer in a single batch so they run on the same machine on the same day, this gives the closest colour match between elements.
Headline text on backdrops should be at least 100mm tall so it reads from across the aisle. Body text on banners and counter wraps works at 30–50mm. Anything smaller than 20mm is wasted at exhibition viewing distances.

Hardware frames usually last five years or more with regular use. Printed graphics typically stay in good condition for two to three years, depending on how often they're packed and unpacked. Storing them flat in their original cases between events makes a big difference.
Absolutely. The frames are designed for repeated use, and you only need to reprint the graphic panels when your branding or message changes. Many exhibitors keep one generic set and produce campaign-specific graphics for major shows.
Most displays come with padded wheeled cases, always store and transport them in these. Graphics should be rolled (not folded), and the cases kept in a dry, room-temperature space. Stacking heavy items on top of stored cases is the main cause of frame damage.
Most modular systems use individual panels, so a single damaged section can be reprinted without redoing the whole stand. Keep your original artwork files accessible, and a digital backup with your printer — so emergency replacements can be produced overnight.

Allow at least 10 working days before your event to cover design, proofing, printing, and delivery. For large modular stands or custom configurations, 3–4 weeks is safer. Rush services exist but limit your options and may carry a premium.
Yes, most printers will dispatch directly to event venues. Provide the venue's delivery address, your stand number, and the contact name for stand build-up. Send deliveries to arrive the day before build, not on the show day, in case of courier delays.
