Use Labels And Stickers To Advertise Your Business

Use Labels And Stickers To Advertise Your Business

All businesses, whether small, medium or large, need to take advantage of every opportunity to advertise. Putting your company name and your business logo in front of as many eyes as possible, and on a regular basis, is one way of increasing your reach, but this needs to be achieved simply and cost-effectively. So, are you missing a trick when it comes to your business mail? We take a look at how you can use labels and stickers to advertise your business…

How To Use Labels And Stickers To Advertise Your Business

Blank spaces

Many businesses have regular postal needs, whether that is daily, weekly or monthly. All postal items have two things in common: they all have an address to post to and they all have a space – top right hand corner – reserved for the postage, which leaves a lot of blank space on the postal envelope; space that could be filled with your company name and logo. An envelope left with such blank space is a wasted opportunity for advertising.

Printing or labelling?

If you have decided to take advantage of all that blank space and feature your company name and logo on the envelope how should you go about it? Should you print directly onto the envelope or simply add a pre-printed sticker or label? Printing the envelope can be achieved in two ways. You can either put each envelope through your printer or you can customise a franking machine to stamp each postal item with a company stamp. Both these options are costly, the first in time, and the second in money. A far more cost-effective means is to use printed labels.

All printed labels require an initial effort to create a template for printing. Any reasonably computer-savvy person can use word processing software to create a template that can then be sent to print on labels with a single command.

You can choose how many labels you need or want, either just one page or several. At EazyPrint, we can handle all this for you, setting the template and printing your custom labels. All you need then do is peel them off and stick them on the envelopes as you get them ready for the post.

What does on-envelope branding achieve?

On-envelope branding in this way will immediately create a more professional looking mailed item, in the eyes of the recipient. Look at some of the post you receive. How many senders feature their logo on the envelope? Of those that do, consider how much more impressive they look than the other blank envelopes.

Secondly, the recipient can tell who the sender is without opening the envelope. This may not seem much of an advantage, but it may mean the recipient opens your envelope eagerly, or it may mean the recipient is intrigued enough to open it when they might otherwise have thrown it away unopened. Thirdly, your company logo will be in front of many more people than before.

Never miss an opportunity to market your business, but there is no need to spend a fortune on expensive marketing campaigns. Use custom printed labels and stickers to advertise your business with every item you post.
